Reservations :
Bookings are taken on a strictly limited basis. The small number of kennels ensures that each pet has individual care during his/her stay with us. All breeds are welcome.
Feeding :
We only feed high quality complete dog food, Purina Pro-Plan or Hills Science Plan products, to our own dogs - whether training, working or breeding.
We would normally feed your pets on these pet foods during their stay. However, if you wish, we will endeavour to maintain your feeding routine if preferred.
We are accredited Stockists and Suppliers of all Purina products.
Health :
All of our residents must be fully vaccinated within the last 12 months. We will request to see all vaccination certificates prior to your pet's stay with us. We reserve the right to refuse any pet that we consider to be in an unhealthy condition or that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament.
Vaccination for Kennel Cough is recommended by most Veterinary Surgeons. Although we fully support this advice, kennel cough vaccination is not a requirement at these Kennels.
We do administer ‘specialist’ diets and prescribed medication. Also in such cases as diabetic pets, we can give injections on a daily basis.
Grooming :
By appointment, Verstone Kennels has grooming facilities that are open to our residents and non-boarders. All dogs are given a shampoo and shower, their nails and ears are checked and they are brushed and groomed to your requirement.
Charges vary depending on coat condition and time required, and should be discussed with us at time of booking and confirmed upon arrival.
Visiting :
All visitors are welcome. To keep disturbance to our residents to a minimum visits must be strictly by appointment, generally during normal opening hours.
Opening Hours :
Arrivals and Departures are arranged on an appoinment basis within the following hours :
8am to 11am & 3pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
9am to 10am & 3pm to 4pm Sundays & Bank Holidays.
We have a small Kennel Shop where you can purchase various pet accessories. Most brands of pet foods are also available to order.
Notice of Reservation :
As much notice as possible is obviously preferred, but late or last minute bookings can sometimes be accommodated. We also appreciate as much notice as possible should you have to cancel. During busy periods we may ask for a non-refundable deposit from new customers to secure any booking.
